The RAM Mounts RAM-D-111BU universal ball base combines a D-size ball with a plate with various mounting hole patterns.
It mounts compatible devices or holders and connects to a suitable D-size RAM Mounts double socket arm.
The ball and socket system allows the attached device to be positioned as needed.

This does not impair functionality or affect use.
